Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, release, and development of PTSE components including fuel tanks, filler systems, fuel delivery modules, evaporative emission systems, fuel lines, and filters
  • Drive Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) and complex problem-solving using 8D methodology
  • Apply systems engineering principles across requirements, integration, verification, and validation
  • Support GD&T, tolerance management, and variation analysis throughout component maturation
  • Contribute to APQP, EBER, commodity planning, and cost optimisation
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver robust, production-ready solutions

We are hiring an experienced PTSE Systems Engineer to work directly with a leading UK-based automotive OEM in the mid and luxury vehicle segment. This role focuses on the design, development, release, and problem resolution of Powertrain & Thermal Systems Engineering (PTSE) components , working within a structured OEM environment and supporting complex vehicle programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, release, and development of PTSE components including fuel tanks, filler systems, fuel delivery modules, evaporative emission systems, fuel lines, and filters
  • Drive Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) and complex problem-solving using 8D methodology
  • Apply systems engineering principles across requirements, integration, verification, and validation
  • Support GD&T, tolerance management, and variation analysis throughout component maturation
