Summary: The Property & Resident Compliance Officer role involves conducting property inspections across Southwest England, focusing on housing vulnerable individuals with complex needs. The position requires managing compliance with health and safety standards and engaging with residents to promote independence. The role is temporary, lasting approximately 9 months, and includes the use of a company car for travel. The officer will manage their own schedule to ensure all duties are completed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent service and property compliance, including health & safety, accommodation standards, and contract performance.
- Oversee regular property inspections and ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
- Manage accurate housing records and performance data in line with organisational and commissioning requirements.
- Promote strength-based, trauma-informed engagement with residents to help them sustain tenancies and achieve independence.
- Maintain oversight of safeguarding issues and ensure all team actions comply with policies and frameworks.
Key Skills:
- Experience carrying out property inspections/working in housing compliance.
- Experience working with vulnerable people is a bonus.
- A full UK driving licence (company car will be provided).
