Summary: We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Disputes Lawyer for a locum position within a respected Property litigation team. The role requires expertise in both commercial and residential property disputes, with an immediate start date. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing their own caseload and working independently or collaboratively. This opportunity offers flexibility in location and a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of property litigation matters
- Handle assured, assured shorthold, and regulated tenancies
- Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) possessions
- Oversee ground rent and service charge recovery
- Facilitate lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- Manage dilapidations and rent reviews
- Conduct possession and forfeiture proceedings
- Resolve telecommunications disputes
- Address trespass and easement issues
- Handle agricultural and other real property matters
- Prepare First-tier Tribunal (FTT) applications
Key Skills:
- Experience in commercial and residential property disputes
- Ability to manage own caseload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in working independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant property legislation
