Property Legal Officer

Hybrid, 1 day a week in the office

Circa 25 umbrella per hour

Sellick Partnership are working with a London-based Local Authority seeking an experienced Property Legal Officer / Senior Paralegal.

This role will be offered on an initial 3-month basis, with a strong likelihood of extension. There is a requirement to work on a hybrid basis, attending the office once per week. The rate on offer is 25 umbrella but there may be some flexibility for someone experienced in property matters within local authority.

The role entails carrying a caseload of legal property matters including but not limited to:

• Right to Buy
• Lease extensions
• Collective enfranchisement
• Licenses for alterations
• Acquisitions of land

The client is ideally looking for someone with experience of working within a local authority setting, but experience in all of the above areas from a private sector background may also be considered. The successful candidate must have obtained a law degree, or equivalent qualification.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a property background who is keen to also expand their knowledge into Highways, Planning & Licensing.
