Summary: The Project Support Officer (PSO) role involves providing essential support for the successful delivery of projects within the organization. The PSO will collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to maintain high standards in project plans, documentation, and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and updating project plans
- Tracking progress against milestones and highlighting risks or delays
- Scheduling and supporting project workshops, checkpoint meetings and board meetings
- Managing key project documentation and ensuring it's shared on time
- Maintaining core project reports: highlight reports, RAID logs, finance forecasts and action logs
- Ensuring all project activity meets internal compliance standards
- Producing ad-hoc reports and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills:
- PRINCE2, APM or similar project methodology qualification
- Proven experience supporting projects in a structured environment
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Confident using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and work with competing deadlines
- Experience using project tools (eg, MS Project, Primavera)
