Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resources and support project and programme managers
  • Update plans to measure progress
  • Produce project reporting to provide updates to stakeholders

  • Record and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Maintain repository of project information
  • Provide project reporting information in accordance with PMO guidance
  • Liaise with sites to agree schedules
  • Manage change requests in a controlled way
  • Establish good relationships with stakeholders

Job title: Project Support Officer

Contract/inside IR35/6 months + likely extensions

Location: hybrid - we require someone in West Yorkshire due to the onsite nature of this position.

We're looking for a Project Support contractor to coordinate resources and support project and programme managers on the delivery of the two main WAN workstreams on a significant programme. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a formal Project/PMO team with knowledge of a methodology such as Prince2, PMP etc. and have the following skills:

  • Be well Organised and structured in approach
  • Good spreadsheet skills
  • Have a can do attitude to support the team
  • Able to update plans to measure progress
  • Able to produce project reporting to provide updates to stakeholders
  • Record benefits and manage measurements of them
  • Record and manage risks, issues and dependencies
  • Maintain repository of project information
  • Provide project reporting information
  • Provide project reporting in accordance with PMO guidance
  • Liaise with Sites to agree schedules
  • Great Communicator and establish good relationships with stakeholders
  • Manage changes requests in a controlled way

Experience:
Worked in a project/programme environment
Worked in a retail environment or worked on delivery of Network/Hardware upgrade/refreshes across multiple sites
