Our client, a leading organisation in the infrastructure delivery sector, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Supervisor/Site Manager to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of construction projects. Key Responsibilities
As a Project Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for two main areas:
CDM 2015 Client Representative Duties
- Act as the Client's representative under CDM regulations, ensuring all activities comply with legal requirements and project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Contractor to maintain an open and cooperative working relationship.
- Monitor safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project life cycle.
NEC Supervisor Role
- Oversee and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality documentation and project timelines.
- Identify and rectify defects and non-conformances effectively.
- Utilise FastDraft for formal documentation of project communications and defect management.
Essential Duties Include
- Participation in pre-mobilisation meetings, contributing insights and setting expectations.
- Review and accept key documents, including quality plans, environmental management plans, and health & safety assessments.
- Conduct site inductions and maintain compliance with CDM regulations throughout the construction process.
- Facilitate weekly safety and quality meetings, monitoring project status and addressing any concerns proactively.
- Maintain comprehensive records and site diaries essential for contractual discussions.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in project supervision or site management within the infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and NEC contract frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and quality assurance.
- Relevant qualifications in health and safety, project management, or construction.
