Summary: The Project Site Manager role in Leicestershire involves overseeing site management and coordinating subcontractors for a leading provider of automated supply chain solutions. The position requires managing an installation team while ensuring project delivery is on time and within budget. The candidate will facilitate communication between the on-site team and project management, fostering a collaborative work environment. This is a full-time, site-based role with an initial contract of six months and the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time site-based role overseeing the installation team.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
- Manage the performance of subcontractors, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Organise and facilitate back-to-back vendor meetings, ensuring effective communication and project progress.
- Steer subcontractor meetings and manage their cadence to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure all necessary supplier documentation is organised and up to date.
- Bring all vendors together to streamline project efforts and resolve any issues.
- Act as the liaison between the on-site team and the wider project management team.
- Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring clear communication between all parties involved.
- Uses resources responsibly and finds the right balance between serving customer needs and achieving business results.
- Clarifies targets and translates them into day-to-day work to achieve results.
- Delivers sustainable results, stays focused even in challenging situations and overcomes obstacles.
- Actively brings in own experience and ideas to generate innovative and creative solutions.
- Takes ownership and decisions for his / her own work and considers things to be done even beyond his / her job description.

Key Skills:
- SMSTS or SSTS certifications are required.
- CSCS Card (Manager level or CSCS Black Card).
- NVQ Level 7 – Master’s or senior Management Qualification.
- Strong Automation Background is essential.
- Strong background in site management, preferably with a focus on mechanical and electrical installation.
- Project Management experience is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain organisation under pressure.
