Summary: The Project/Programme Manager for Business Change in the Energy Sector will lead transformation initiatives for a prominent client, focusing on delivering organizational and operational change. This role requires effective stakeholder alignment and communication to ensure successful implementation of change programmes. The position is hybrid, requiring two days a week on-site in London, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is for a minimum of six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of business change and transformation projects
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Drive business change initiatives across operations, processes, and systems
- Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts across the programme
- Ensure effective communication and engagement across business teams
- Oversee governance, reporting, and project documentation
- Support change adoption, including training, communication, and stakeholder readiness
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Project Manager delivering business change projects
- Proven experience within the energy, utilities, or related sector
- Experience managing transformation or operational change initiatives
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and governance frameworks
- Experience in stakeholder management across business and technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex project environments
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects in the energy sector (preferred)
- Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) (preferred)
- Experience with tools like MS Project, JIRA, or similar (preferred)
