Summary: The Project Planner role involves supporting the Challenger 3 programme within a complex manufacturing environment in Telford. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to generate and maintain project schedules, manage stakeholder relationships, and assist in project reporting. The ideal candidate will have project management experience and strong communication skills. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generation and maintenance of project schedules within the programme.
  • Support the integration of delivery line project schedules to an integrated master schedule.
  • Support the Programme resource demand process.
  • Assistance with the generation of project reporting data.
  • Involvement in the identification of mitigation actions for scheduling issues.
  • Support the production and on-time delivery of Project Management deliverables as defined in the project management plan.
  • Other ad-hoc duties to support the Integrated Planning and EV Manager and PCM as required.
  • Manage internal stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Experience within project management.
  • Planning or Scheduling experience within a project environment.
  • Experience of influencing internal stakeholders to achieve business success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Driven self-starter.
  • APM PMQ or equivalent qualification (desirable).

We are recruiting for Project Planner to support the delivery of the Challenger 3 programme. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a complex manufacturing environment, working with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Generation and maintenance of the project schedules within the programme, working with Engineering Leads and Project Managers, Integrated Planning and EV Manager.
  • Support the integration of the delivery line project schedules to an integrated master schedule
  • Support the Programme resource demand process
  • Assitance with the generation of project reporting data
  • Involvement in the identification, of mitigation actions for scheduling issues
  • Support the production and on-time delivery of Project Management deliverables as defined in the project management plan.
  • Other ad-hoc duties to support the Integrated Planning and EV Manager and PCM as when required
  • Manage internal stakeholders

What Qualifications You Should Have

Essential:

  • Experience within project management
  • Planning or Scheduling experience within a project environment (Essential)

Desirable:
