Summary: The role of Project Planner involves providing expertise in ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) to establish project structures and workflows, enabling effective reporting and dashboard creation for a high-profile consulting firm. The position requires a strong background in project planning and management, particularly with ADO, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. The role is initially for 6 months and offers a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates should possess exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) and set up project structures.
  • Enable work breakdown structure leading to reports and dashboard creation.
  • Set up tickets and plan project tasks effectively.
  • Align structured task workflows with project plans.
  • Integrate ADO within project planning and reporting environments.
  • Manage project data using ADO for visibility and traceability.
  • Create reports and dashboards for project tracking.
  • Utilize Jira/MS Project for project structures.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage relationships.
  • Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies in project management.
  • Adapt to hybrid working arrangements as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner/PMO with ADO expertise.
  • Familiarity with Epics, Features, User Stories, Scope Items, and Tasks.
  • Experience in setting up tickets and planning.
  • Proficient in structured task workflows and project alignment.
  • Experience in integrating ADO within project environments.
  • Knowledge of project data management using ADO.
  • Experience in creating reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with Jira/MS Project.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Flexible approach to hybrid working.
