Summary: The Project Officer for Youth for Sustainable Development and Climate Justice will be responsible for supporting ECO-UNESCO's initiatives in sustainability and climate justice. This full-time, fixed-term role requires nationwide travel and flexibility for evening and weekend work. The position is based at ECO-UNESCO's headquarters in Dublin, with a contract duration of two years, subject to funding and performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of youth programs focused on sustainable development and climate justice.
  • Coordinate nationwide travel for program activities and events.
  • Work closely with the Operations & Development Manager to achieve project goals.
  • Engage with stakeholders and participants to promote program objectives.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to project activities.

Contract: Fixed Term – 2 years* (*which may be extended subject to ongoing funding & satisfactory performance)

Probationary period: 6 months

Reporting to: Operations & Development Manager

Location: ECO-UNESCO'S Headquarters at 9 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2 with nationwide travel required.

Time commitment: Full time (35 hours) Flexibility is required as the role includes evening and occasional weekend work.

Fixed Term Contract Start Date: Immediate

Salary: Salary scale €32,000 – €34,000. Starting salary dependent on experience
