Summary: The Project Officer role is a temporary position within a national healthcare improvement organization, focusing on quality improvement in mental health. The successful candidate will support clinical audits and research projects, working in a hybrid model. This role requires strong data analysis skills and effective communication to liaise with various stakeholders. The contract is for four months, covering maternity leave, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews and support the development of data collection tools
- Manage and analyse data using SPSS and Excel
- Support report writing and the production of national publications
- Liaise with clinicians, service users, and project stakeholders
- Organise events, workshops, and meetings (online and in-person)
- Assist with administrative tasks including invoices, bookings, and communications
Key Skills:
- A strong interest in health and social care, particularly mental health
- Experience in audit, research, or quality improvement
- Skills in data analysis using SPSS
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Desirable: A degree in social sciences, health sciences, or data science
- Experience working in mental health or with healthcare professionals
- Confidence facilitating events or workshops
