Summary: The role of Project Manager involves leading the delivery and integration of a Yardi platform within a complex real estate and asset-backed environment. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the internal finance team and external Yardi consultants, ensuring effective system configuration and governance. This position requires strong finance systems expertise and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. The role offers hybrid working flexibility with an initial contract duration of 6-12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary project management interface between the finance team and external Yardi consultants, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met.
  • Oversee the configuration and setup of Yardi, ensuring alignment with finance and governance requirements (e.g. GL structures, controls, segregation of duties).
  • Coordinate and document business and system requirements, supporting knowledge transfer and ensuring a smooth transition to BAU ownership within finance.
  • Identify and address gaps in process maturity, controls, and system usage across the finance function.
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the finance team in establishing best practices for Yardi configuration, controls, and ongoing system management.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering or managing Yardi implementations (or closely comparable finance / property ERP platforms).
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and governance in a regulated or asset-backed environment.
  • Experience working closely with internal finance teams and third-party system integrators or consultants.
  • Ability to translate business and finance requirements into effective system outcomes.
  • Highly organised, outcome-focused, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.
