Summary: The role of Project Manager for Waste Water Infrastructure and Civil Engineering in Bishop's Stortford involves overseeing project planning and execution, including managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will possess relevant certifications and experience in managing similar projects. This is a 6-month contract with a competitive rate outside of IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run the programme, project planning and execution, including timelines, resourcing, budgets, risk management and critical path delivery.
- Manage stakeholders, the general public, local authorities, and the client.
- Manage change and work with the commercial team to manage variations.
- Inform the client of risk and perform risk management.
- Help with engineering problems and manage procurement.
- Escalate issues and provide clear recommendations to the programme management team.
- Familiarity with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
Key Skills:
- SMSTS certification.
- CSCS Black or Gold card.
- 3-day first aid certification.
- EUSR Water certification.
- EUSR 1 & 2 certification.
- Thames Water Passport.
- Experience in civil engineering and waste water infrastructure projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
Salary (Rate): £550 daily
