Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of the utilities package, from pre-construction through to handover
- Oversee the coordination and delivery of utility diversions in line with programme, safety, and budget expectations
- Manage a multidisciplinary team including engineers, planners, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with HS2 specifications, utility provider standards, and contractual requirements
- Liaise with key stakeholders including utility providers, local authorities, and internal teams
- Drive programme performance, risk mitigation, and reporting
- Lead commercial awareness and change control processes in collaboration with the commercial team
- Oversee health, safety, quality, and environmental (SHEQ) performance across your package
Key Skills:
- Proven experience on a major infrastructure or civils schemes
- Strong technical understanding of utility diversions (minimum two disciplines: gas, water, power, comms)
- Experience working on Tier 1 projects or regulated infrastructure (HS2, rail, highways, or similar)
- Skilled in stakeholder management, planning, programme reporting, and compliance
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety best practices and risk management
- CSCS, SMSTS, and relevant engineering or project management qualifications essential
