Our client, a prominent Local Authority, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key transformation initiatives within various directorates. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering projects that generate efficiency savings and leverage innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and oversee the delivery of complex projects within a structured programme framework, ensuring alignment with defined scope, quality standards, budget, timeline, and resource objectives.

Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycle, from defining quality criteria for deliverables to implementing new capabilities, ensuring project benefits remain aligned with organisational priorities.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and delivery management.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in preparing formal reports, budgets, cost estimates, risk assessments, and utilizing project tracking software.

Proficiency in MS Project and Visio (or equivalent tools) for project planning and stakeholder communication.

Sound understanding of data protection, freedom of information, and confidentiality requirements.

Certification in PRINCE2 or equivalent project management methodologies.
