Summary: The Project Manager role focuses on end-to-end project management and delivery of change projects within Securities Services, specifically in Transfer Agency for key clients in the Financial Services sector. The position requires managing client onboarding, project governance, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement across multiple regions including the UK, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, particularly in financial services, and will be responsible for ensuring project outcomes align with client expectations and regulatory requirements. This is a six-month initial contract position based in Edinburgh, classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for end-to-end management and delivery of change for key Securities Services clients.
  • Manage client onboarding in accordance with governance and change management frameworks.
  • Develop project definitions and business cases, including scope, objectives, and risk management.
  • Act as a single point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
  • Ensure operational readiness and integration of business functions for solution delivery.
  • Develop and baseline detailed project plans and governance structures.
  • Manage resource forecasting, planning, and utilization tracking.
  • Implement project controls, budget management, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Control and report on risks, issues, and changes in project scope.
  • Work with senior management to optimize client profiles and profitability.

Key Skills:

  • Over 8 years of project management experience with robust governance standards.
  • Experience in Agile project delivery and product management.
  • Ability to lead teams and support team development.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with C-Suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external clients and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of benefits identification and management techniques.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and business change methodologies.
  • Financial Services experience, particularly in Fund Administration or Transfer Agency.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and strong analytical skills.
  • Professional Change Management/Project Management qualification.
