Summary: The Project Manager will oversee projects related to Telemetry Systems and SCADA, focusing on integration and upgrades within a designated portfolio. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with contract partners. The position is hybrid, requiring travel to the Bradford office 1-2 days a week, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects within a designated portfolio/suite of work across the organisation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive projects delivering against agreed targets.
- Influence and manage stakeholders effectively to assist in successful project delivery.
- Lead the project team and drive contractor performance to ensure desired outcomes.
- Oversee financial/budget management and project planning.
- Deliver testing environment upgrades and application upgrades/migrations.
- Manage relationships with 3rd party providers.
- Continuously strive for best practice performance in project delivery.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in Telemetry Systems and SCADA.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership qualities with a confident and assertive approach.
- Experience in project management, planning, and financial/budget management.
- Specific experience in delivering testing environment upgrades and application migrations.
- Ability to deal with challenges and maintain a can-do attitude.

Our client, a leading organisation in the region, has contract requirements for Project Managers.
The Project Manager will manage projects within a designated portfolio/suite of work across the organisation. The role holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to drive projects delivering against agreed targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
You will possess proven experience as a Project Manager specifically around the upgrade, and/or, the replacement of Telemetry Systems, and Scada, with a focus around the integration of these with ERP systems, OR, the build of Telemetry systems.
- The Project Manager must be a strong influential manager of stakeholders and be able to create excellent working relationships with contract partners and supply chain, to assist successful project delivery.
- Proven delivery experience of around the upgrade, and/or, the replacement of Telemetry Systems, and Scada.
- You will be a leader, confident and assertive, whilst maintaining a can-do attitude to problem solving and directing the wider project resources.
- They will have a proven track record of project management and planning and financial/budget management.
- Specific experience of delivering testing environment upgrades, and application upgrades/migrations.
- Fully experienced in project delivery including leading the project team, driving contractor performance, and ensuring the right outcomes are delivered to the end user.
- Experience of managing 3rd party providers.
- The ability to deal with challenges and continuously strive for best practice performance.
