Summary: The role of Project Manager involves overseeing the delivery of software solutions with a focus on financial oversight, risk management, and customer satisfaction. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers, engineering teams, and stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness, particularly in a customer-facing context. The contract is for 4 months, starting at the end of March, with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring financial and customer objectives are met.
- Manage budgets, risks, and resource allocation across technical teams.
- Act as the primary customer contact, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
- Develop and maintain project plans, tracking milestones and dependencies.
- Coordinate Software Engineering, DevOps, Testing, and Support teams.
- Travel 1-2 times per month for onsite customer meetings across the Central Belt.
- Work in-office once per week for team collaboration.
