Summary: The role of Project Manager - Software and Infrastructure Change involves managing a diverse portfolio of projects within a dynamic Change function, focusing on Infrastructure, IT, and Software initiatives. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement and end-to-end project delivery in a governance-heavy environment. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Financial Services, particularly in Insurance, and will be responsible for shaping project requirements and driving delivery. This is a 6-month contract role based in Stratford-upon-Avon, deemed inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied portfolio of projects across Infrastructure, Applications, and Systems.
  • Engage early in the project life cycle, shaping requirements and steering business case development.
  • Drive project delivery through to completion, including cloud migrations and system implementations.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, including budget owners, to ensure project success.
  • Operate within a governance-heavy environment, managing RAID and conducting QA reviews.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager with a focus on Infrastructure and Application/System projects.
  • Strong background in Financial Services, preferably with Insurance experience.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end project life cycles effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in governance-heavy project environments.
  • Beneficial experience with Workday implementations, cloud migrations (Azure preferred), and SaaS product delivery.

Inside IR35 | 6-Month contract
Hybrid - 1 day per week in Stratford-upon-Avon

We are looking for a highly experienced, business-facing Project Manager to join a dynamic Change function delivering a blend of Infrastructure, IT, and Software projects. This is a role for someone who thrives on end-to-end delivery, stakeholder engagement, and navigating complex business environments.

The Role
You will manage a varied portfolio of projects across Infrastructure, Applications, and Systems. You'll engage early in the life cycle-often from inception-shaping requirements, steering business case development, and driving delivery through to completion. These can include cloud migrations, new system implementation, decommissioning projects and large scale network changes

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Seasoned Project Manager with a broad portfolio of Infrastructure and Application/System projects.
  • Strong Financial Services background, with a preference towards Insurance experience.
  • Proven ability to work very closely with business stakeholders, including budget owners.
  • Demonstrated success managing end-to-end project life cycles.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building capability.
  • Comfortable operating within a governance-heavy environment (RAID management, fortnightly QA reviews, issue escalation).

This is an initial 6 month contract with a high chance of extension and the role has been deemed Inside IR35.
