Project Manager - Site Operations - Site Environmental Consents, Permissions and Planning
We are working with our client in the nuclear sector to appoint a Project Manager to lead site operations, environmental consents, permissions, and planning activities on major infrastructure projects.
Based in Warrington with hybrid working, this 12-month contract (Inside IR35) will see you play a key role in enabling innovative energy solutions and supporting energy security and net-zero ambitions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and key stakeholders across our client's organisation.
Key Skills & Experience
- Project management: Leading complex site-based work packages from initiation through delivery.
- Planning & scheduling: Building and maintaining realistic programmes to coordinate multiple, concurrent activities.
- Risk management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Change control: Managing scope changes and their impact through formal project controls.
- Reporting & governance: Providing clear progress reporting and ensuring compliance with project and organisational standards.
- CDM Regulations & site management: Applying CDM and practical site controls to ensure safe delivery in a nuclear environment.
- Health, safety & environmental management: Embedding HSE requirements and supporting environmental surveys, investigations, and enabling works.
- Contractor & multidisciplinary coordination: Directing contractors and consultants across varied technical disciplines.
- Environmental consenting & permitting: Supporting consents, permissions, statutory approvals, and site access planning.
- NEC contract administration (CEMAR): Administering NEC contracts using CEMAR or similar tools.
- Stakeholder management: Handling significant stakeholder interest with clear, confident communication.
