Summary: The Project Manager (SC) role involves leading complex change initiatives within a regulated environment for a leading organization in Taunton. The position requires managing project delivery from initiation to transition into business as usual, ensuring adherence to time, cost, quality, and scope. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days per week, and is offered on a 6-month contract basis starting in June. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, quality and scope
  • Manage project plans, resources, budgets, risks and issues in line with governance frameworks
  • Produce and deliver all project outputs, ensuring solutions meet defined requirements and standards
  • Make timely delivery decisions, escalating risks and issues where appropriate
  • Manage dependencies and work collaboratively with other Project Managers
  • Lead day to day engagement with project teams, stakeholders and third party suppliers
  • Resolve delivery, technical, commercial and change issues that may impact outcomes
  • Plan and manage effective transition into live service, securing stakeholder buy in
  • Complete end of project reviews and embed lessons learned

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle
  • Strong governance, assurance, risk and issue management experience
  • Experience in engaging stakeholders
  • PRINCE2 Foundation (or equivalent)
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile approaches

Salary (Rate): £630.00/daily

An experienced Project Manager is required to deliver complex change initiatives within a regulated environment, owning delivery from initiation through to transition into business as usual.
