Summary: Robert Half is seeking a Project Manager with expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementation for a 3-4 month contract with an aviation client. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills, focusing on the successful delivery of the project in collaboration with an external implementation partner. The position is based on-site in Surrey, requiring four days a week of presence. The candidate will manage relationships and ensure project milestones are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business cases, plans, and status reports
  • Ensure the project remains on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and report on progress to the Head of Projects
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and third-party vendors
  • Facilitate project governance, reporting, and decision-making at all levels

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
  • Background working in global or international organisations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience managing third-party vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality project documentation and develop business cases
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive project success
  • Willingness and availability to work onsite in Surrey 4 days per week

About the Role

Robert Half have partnered with a large international organisation and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a SAP S/4HANA implementation . This is a pivotal role within our Project Management Office (PMO) , requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills, a sharp focus on documentation, and a proven track record of successful SAP project delivery. The transition to SAP S/4HANA will be delivered by a specialist external implementation partner , who will serve as a key stakeholder throughout the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing this relationship, ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication, and delivery against agreed milestones and quality standards.
