Summary: The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will lead critical infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing the security framework of an investment bank, focusing on remote access upgrades and firewall enhancements. This role is integral to a broader cyber improvement program and requires strong project management skills and stakeholder communication. The position demands a hybrid working arrangement with three days a week in the London office. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project goals are met.
• Manage upgrades to VPN and Citrix systems to enhance remote access capabilities.
• Oversee the implementation of secure production access using Guacamole server.
• Ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to end-users.
• Implement best practices for security and ensure robust measures are in place to protect sensitive data.
• Coordinate with IT and security teams to align with overall security policies.
• Plan and execute Firewall upgrades to enhance network security.
• Ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure and minimal downtime during upgrades.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management (C-level).
• Provide succinct updates and ensure clear, concise communication.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to senior management.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and security risks.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure project success.

Key Skills:
