Summary: Our client is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of Finance Solutions within the energy and sustainability sectors. This part-time role requires a professional with experience in financial solutions and investment projects, working 2-3 days per week on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position offers a salary of £65,000 - £70,000 pro rata.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Programme level overview and timelines to assist Programme Director in resource allocation and stakeholder engagement.
  • For each project, develop PM systems (GANTT, critical path, progress tracker) to manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Organise and assist in facilitating meetings with project developers, banks, corporates, lawyers, investors, and civil servants.
  • Track progress across projects and sub-workstreams, identify risks, and ensure alignment with programme objectives, supporting the Programme Director.
  • Prepare operational documentation (e.g., Terms of Reference, Non-Disclosure Agreements), regular status updates, best practice guides, and meeting papers.
  • Assist the Programme Director in coordinating sessions to develop financing models and novel structures to help projects reach FID.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally within finance or energy/infrastructure/sustainability sectors.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with investment processes, policy frameworks, or energy transition projects is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
