We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical digital transformation within our Clients hospitality industry: the migration from Oracle Opera to Opera Cloud. The role will focus on overseeing all aspects of delivery-from planning and coordination through to go-live and hypercare-with the opportunity to extend into additional transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery planning, stakeholder alignment, and risk mitigation
- Coordination of technical readiness, training approach (Train-the-Trainer and/or F2F), UAT, cutover and hypercare
- Strong collaboration with vendor partners and internal tech/ops teams
Other Projects include:
- Booking Engine/Channel Manager Migration
Scope:
- Migration of booking engine and channel manager
- Coordination with PMS and CRS integrations
- Front End configuration, testing, and operational go-live
- Payments Transformation
Scope:
- Oversee full implementation of new payment gateway
- Manage integrations with PMS, booking engine, and POS
- Ensure PCI compliance and risk mitigation throughout
Candidate Profile:
- Solid track record delivering hotel technology projects, especially Opera migrations
- Experience working with external vendors and internal delivery teams
- Familiarity with booking engines, distribution platforms, and payment systems (eg Planet)
- Comfortable managing overlapping or phased workstreams across departments
