Summary: The Project Manager will oversee a new build residential project in Birmingham, managing all phases from inception to completion. This role requires ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while maintaining schedules and budgets. The Project Manager will also liaise with clients and stakeholders, driving a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and supply chain management.
- Maintain programme schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Main Contracting project management.
- CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- SMSTS qualification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing a team of Site Managers, Design Teams and Operatives.
