Summary: The role of Project Manager for Network Infrastructure & Security involves leading the delivery of network infrastructure and security changes in both existing and new environments. The position requires strong coordination among technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and risk-minimized project delivery. The contract is for three months and is based onsite at Stockley Park. The role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage network infrastructure and security projects involving Fortinet SD-WAN and Fortinet Firewalls.
- Oversee Cisco Nexus switching environments and Cisco LAN and Wi-Fi networks.
- Plan and coordinate configuration changes on live network equipment.
- Manage preparation and deployment of new network hardware.
- Develop and maintain project plans where scope and equipment volumes may evolve.
- Coordinate configuration loading, testing, rollback planning, and change windows.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change control processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and implementation plans.
- Track delivery against timelines and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure compliance with networking, security, and operational standards.
Key Skills:
