Summary: The Project Manager – MAM / DAM role involves leading complex Media Asset Management and Digital Asset Management transformation initiatives within a fast-paced broadcast and media environment. The position requires managing large-scale technology and operational change programs, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology roadmaps. The role is hybrid, requiring three days on-site in London, and is aimed at experienced professionals with a strong background in project management. The contract is outside IR35 and is expected to last for 12 months with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of MAM/DAM transformation programmes across business and technology teams.
- Manage complex project plans, governance structures, RAID management, reporting, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Drive delivery across media asset workflows including ingest, metadata enrichment, archive management, retrieval, transcoding, and lifecycle management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, production, vendors, and third-party integrators.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, operational workflows, and technology roadmaps.
- Manage programme dependencies, risks, and change impacts within large-scale transformation environments.
- Support PMO governance, portfolio reporting, and delivery best practices where required.
- Work closely with architecture and technical teams on systems integration, migration, and platform modernisation initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Project Management/PMO/Product Owner or Head of Delivery.
- Familiarity with enterprise MAM/DAM platforms and broadcast tooling such as Vizrt, Mediaflex, Dalet, Avid MediaCentral.
- Experience working within cloud, hybrid, or enterprise media transformation programmes.
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
