Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace for the UK operations, ensuring alignment with a global initiative led by the parent company in Germany. This role requires effective stakeholder engagement, change management, and training coordination to facilitate a smooth transition. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the project, including risk management and technical coordination with IT teams. The position is hybrid and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Ownership - Manage the end-to-end migration from M365 to Google Workspace for the UK business, ensuring alignment with the global program.
- Stakeholder Communication - Provide regular updates to UK business leaders, IT teams, and end-users on project progress, risks, and timelines.
- Change Management - Work closely with business departments to understand their specific requirements, concerns, and support needs during the transition.
- Training & Adoption - Coordinate and arrange training sessions to ensure end-users are well-equipped to use Google Workspace effectively.
- Risk & Issue Management - Identify potential risks and proactively address any issues to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Collaboration with Global Team - Liaise with the project team in Germany to align on project milestones, challenges, and best practices.
- Technical Coordination - Work alongside IT and technical teams to oversee data migration, security policies, and integration with existing systems.
- Reporting & Documentation - Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder feedback.
Key Skills:
- Project Management Expertise - Proven experience managing IT migration projects, preferably in cloud-based applications (Google Workspace, M365, etc.).
- Stakeholder Engagement - Ability to work with diverse teams, from technical IT staff to non-technical business users.

However, we require a local PM to ensure the seamless execution of the migration within our UK operations.
