Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver secure digital, data, and technology work packages within a government communications project.
- Lead small to medium-sized workstreams in IT infrastructure.
- Interact with 1st to 3rd line support teams in an ITIL environment.
- Manage projects involving technologies such as VMware, Linux, and Citrix.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary and virtual teams.
- Utilize Microsoft tools, including MS Project, for project management.
- Work within hybrid Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Key Skills:
- Solid demonstrable experience in Project Management of infrastructure or ITIL related projects.
- Working knowledge of ITIL and Service Desk interactions, with an ITIL qualification.
- Experience working with teams in the infrastructure setting (1st to 3rd Line).
- Exposure to secure communications related projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including MS Project.
- Must be a British Citizen and be eligible for SC Clearance, or already cleared.

Network IT is currently hiring for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of secure digital, data, and technology (DDaT) work packages within an existing government communications project. You will play a key part in delivering projects for security conscious customers, focusing around IT infrastructure related workstreams and interacting with 1st – 3rd line support teams in an ITIL environment. Our client is looking for an experienced PM, with the core qualities around team leadership, stakeholder management and communications to lead on small to medium sized workstreams in the infrastructure setting. It is likely that you will have operated within a government environment before, and have a strong understanding of ITIL, along with the necessary security requirements for this role (SC).
Role: Project Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Working Practice: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months initially
