Summary: The Department for Transport - Active Travel England is seeking a Project Manager for a 6-month contract based in York. The role involves managing projects related to innovation for behavior change, developing business cases, and providing support for procurement and grants. Key Responsibilities:

• Work with policy, grants, and strategy teams to design approaches for encouraging innovation for behavior change.
• Develop business cases for new innovation proposals and ports.
• Project manage the delivery of projects from sourcing through to award and ensure handover to existing staff.
• Provide ad-hoc procurement, grants, and project management support for other teams within Active Travel England.

Key Skills:

• Relevant project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience in business case development, governance, assurance, and change control.
