We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategically important operational programme within a UK-based manufacturing environment.

This role will oversee a complex, multi-phase project involving equipment, processes, and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring activities are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining operational continuity and stakeholder alignment.

This is a high-visibility role requiring strong leadership, discretion, and structured programme management capability.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate a structured operational change programme across manufacturing functions
  • Manage project plans covering equipment, assets, workflows, and process transitions
  • Work closely with engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and senior stakeholders
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, risk registers, and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate external suppliers, contractors, and specialist partners
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Manage logistics and sequencing of technical activities to minimise operational disruption
  • Provide clear reporting to senior leadership on progress, risks, and delivery milestones
  • Support knowledge transfer and operational readiness activities
  • Travel occasionally to international locations to align with group stakeholders and technical partners

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering complex industrial or manufacturing projects
  • Background in machinery installation, equipment relocation, or operational change programmes highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and engineering processes
  • Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating within sensitive or business-critical programmes
  • Structured approach to risk, budget, and timeline control
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior level
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
