Your new role As Site Manager, you will be overseeing day-to-day operations on sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, managing site teams, enforcing health and safety protocols, and liaising with clients and project managers.
What you'll need to succeed An understanding of construction and be able to overcome onsite issues. A valid SMSTS qualification. An understanding of and the ability to read construction drawings. Complete the required forms and procedures. Check the quality of the works and record works on the electronic system. Have excellent communication skills, so you are able to speak to and guide operatives on site. Be able to communicate, both verbally and in written day records, so any problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Have a valid driving licence and be willing to travel.
