Summary: The Project Manager at Dimensions is tasked with overseeing the direction, coordination, and execution of large, complex projects that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves managing both IT and non-IT initiatives critical to the Group's strategy. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards while effectively communicating with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of key Dimensions projects, defining scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, tasks, resource requirements, and budget.
  • Manage the implementation of strategic and operational requirements, including planning and scheduling project timelines and tracking deliverables.
  • Create project artefacts such as business cases, project initiation documents, detailed project plans, resource profiles, budget trackers, and RAID logs.
  • Monitor project information, resources, and timelines, managing risks, issues, changes, and obstacles as necessary.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with Dimensions’ strategy, commitments and goals.

The projects will likely be large, transformational, organisation-wide and complex which are critical to the delivery of the Group’s strategy or in mitigation of a key strategic risk; these could include both IT and non-IT initiatives.

This vacancy may close earlier than advertised if application levels are high.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of key Dimensions projects to include defining the project scope, goals, deliverables, dependencies, project tasks, resource requirements and budget.
  • Manage the implementation of the strategic and operations requirements; this will include planning and scheduling project timelines, tracking project deliverables, leading and co-ordinating project teams and providing direction and support.
  • Create project artefacts to include business cases, project initiation documents, detailed project plans, resource profiles, budget trackers and RAID logs.
  • Bring together the information on projects, resources and timescales, monitoring against the overall agreed timeline and ensuring significant risks, issues, changes and obstacles are managed as appropriate.

  • Possess strong analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Experience of operating within defined governance processes.
  • Possess high level of written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present complex information in a concise and user-friendly way
