Following the continued success of Tetra Tech in securing a variety of new and interesting projects in the defence, residential, education and government services sectors, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join us in our Southampton office. Working with Project Managers and Project Directors, you will be supporting and leading on projects of national and international significance through their lifecycle from inception to handover.
This will include working closely with our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues from other Tetra Tech disciplines. There is ample opportunity to support your development and career progression within this role. We are seeking passionate Project Managers who can demonstrate flexible, innovative and diverse thinking, the role includes:
- Supporting and leading projects
- Attending and, at times, leading project meetings with project teams, capturing minutes and tracking actions
- Following our internal governance requirements
- Supporting Senior Project Managers with internal project finances
- Preparing project tools including programmes, risk registers, requests for information, assumptions and issues registers and decisions logs
- Supporting the preparation of governance documents including Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans and Risk Management Plans
- Supporting project change control management
- Contributing to the bidding process
- Preparing client reports
About You
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in a project environment
- Ability to deliver to deadlines
- The ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams to deliver results
- Comfortable working on an individual basis
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Software, including Excel, Project and Word
- The ability to meet client security clearance requirements
- Willingness to travel internationally if required

In Addition, The Candidate Will Preferably Hold or working towards an APM qualifications (PFQ and PMQ) or equivalent, with an aspiration to become MAPM (Member of APM) and chartered status in the future
