Summary: The Project Manager role is a 6-month contract focused on leading clinical digital implementation projects within the NHS. The position requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and adherence to NHS standards to drive digital transformation. The successful candidate will manage project delivery, cutover planning, and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid working environment. Immediate start is available for a results-driven individual with relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital projects within clinical settings, ensuring alignment with service redesign priorities.
- Manage cutover and test cycle planning, workflow analysis, and benefit realization.
- Maintain and report on risks, issues, and performance metrics to executive boards and oversight groups.
- Chair programme meetings and produce progress reports for senior leadership.
- Mentor teams in project management methodology and process redesign.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage interdependencies and drive successful outcomes.
- Ensure stakeholder engagement and secure buy-in across divisions and workstreams.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in project management within NHS or healthcare environments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with CareFlow EPR (System C), including EPMA.
- Experience working with patient engagement platforms, ICE Order Comms (Clinics).
- Ability to manage complex, sensitive, and conflicting subject matter.
- Experience with agile and traditional project management methodologies.
- Skilled in risk management, reporting, and governance.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead clinical digital implementation projects and major workstreams such as cutover and testing. The role involves working with senior stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical teams, applying NHS standards and recognized project management methodologies to deliver impactful digital transformation.
Your responsibilities as a Project Manager:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital projects within clinical settings, ensuring alignment with service redesign priorities.
