Summary: The Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager role involves overseeing a critical project within a major logistics organization undergoing transformation. The position requires expertise in managing on-prem to cloud migrations and upgrading legacy infrastructure while ensuring compliance and security. The ideal candidate will thrive in enterprise-scale environments and adapt to ongoing changes effectively. This role is based in Sheffield with a requirement for on-site presence three times a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure and Cloud focused projects, specifically on-prem to Cloud migrations.
- Oversee Operational System Upgrades and remediation of 'Cloud Blockers' for application migration.
- Upgrade Legacy infrastructure and decommission Legacy Domains to maintain business capabilities.
- Ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and operational throughout the project.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in infrastructure and Cloud focused projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including security, networking, servers, storage, and data centres.
- Exposure to multi/hybrid cloud environments, ideally Azure.
- Experience in enterprise-scale, complex organizations.
- Proactive attitude with adaptability to ongoing changes.

We are representing an instantly recognisable household name at a time of major transformation and modernisation. This is a complex logistics organisation that's looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager who thrives in large, enterprise-scale environments and can hit the ground running.
As the Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be working on an integral project within the Cloud Excellence programme. The project involves a number of Operational System Upgrades that are blocking ongoing security patching and the remediation of 'Cloud Blockers' to facilitate migration of these applications from on-prem to the Cloud.
You will also have the opportunity to upgrade Legacy infrastructure an decommission Legacy Domains to protect existing business capabilities, ensuring systems remain secure, compliant, and operational.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience working on infrastructure and Cloud focused projects - specifically on-prem to Cloud migrations
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including security, networking, Servers, storage, data centres, etc
- Exposure to a multi/hybrid cloud environment - ideally Azure
- Experience within enterprise-scale, complex organisations
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to ongoing changes
