Summary: The Project Manager role involves managing an Identity and Access Management (IAM) workstream to support its adoption across Global Business and Functions. The position requires strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to identify and resolve issues that may hinder project progress. The role also includes producing status reports and ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an IAM workstream supporting the adoption of Identity and Access Management across Global Business and Global Functions.
- Apply standard project management and reporting practices, ensuring JIRA and Confluence are accurately maintained and up to date.
- Support the delivery team by identifying, understanding, and unblocking issues that may impede progress.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the programme.
- Lead and coordinate internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to deliver against the agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to agree priorities and manage expectations.
- Proactively track workstream activities, following up with project resources to ensure delivery against the agreed schedule.
- Escalate risks, issues, and delivery concerns to the Programme Manager in a timely manner to keep delivery on track.
- Effectively manage changes to scope, resourcing, timelines, and emerging requirements.
- Produce weekly status reports, including progress updates, risks, issues, and dependencies across the workstream.
Key Skills:
- Strong project management and delivery skills.
- Solid technical understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins), and both cloud and on-premise infrastructure platforms.
- Proven, hands-on experience delivering IAM initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IAM controls, capabilities, and requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience interacting with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative team player with experience working within large, global programme teams.
- Good understanding of regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.
- An inquisitive mindset with the ability to learn quickly in complex technical environments.
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience working closely with cybersecurity, engineering, and operations teams (desirable).
- Previous experience acting as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead within complex or large-scale programmes (desirable).
- Strong experience using JIRA, Confluence, and agile delivery methodologies (desirable).
