Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of medium-sized projects within the Build and Operate workstream, focusing on system integrations, product optimization, and automated workflows. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define business outcomes, monitor program progress, and ensure effective quality assurance. The Project Manager will also be responsible for managing project risks, producing project plans, and ensuring successful project outcomes within budget and timelines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, key control owners, and stakeholders to define clear business outcomes and requirements.
  • Attend governance forums and provide program insight, capturing actions and working with teams to close them.
  • Develop and support business case submissions and proactively monitor program progress.
  • Resolve issues and initiate corrective actions as required, ensuring effective quality assurance.
  • Articulate and capture risks and dependencies between program and function streams.
  • Produce full project plans, define project requirements, and deliver user test plans.
  • Manage governance processes to support system delivery and operational processes.
  • Produce updated operational processes to support new features and tooling.
  • Manage project approach and build stakeholder buy-in around project plans and changes.
  • Produce project status reports and manage all project delivery risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Work with Programme managers to align project activities with wider program objectives.
  • Be the main contact for respective projects and track/manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver successful project outcomes, ensuring projects are on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to and agree on business transition plans, ensuring all delivery expectations are met before handover to BAU.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers key control owners and stakeholders to define clear business outcomes requirements and ensure these remain traceable throughout the delivery of the initiative
  • Attend various governance forums and provide programme insight.
  • Capture actions on behalf of members and work with relevant teams stakeholders to close them in a timely manner

Standard Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering a range of medium sized projects across Build and Operate workstream to support key system integrations product optimization and automated workflows for education controls key cybersecurity priorities
  • Produce full project plans
  • Define project requirements
  • Produce and deliver user test plans
  • Manage required governance processes to support system delivery and operational processes eg External Hosting Committees and Data Visa
  • Produce updated operational processes to support new features and tooling
  • Manage the project approach building stakeholder buy in around the project plan commitments and changes
  • Produce project status reports and ad hoc reporting requirements on the health of the projects
  • Proactively manage all project delivery risks issues and dependencies
  • Work with Programme managers to ensure project activities are aligned to wider programme objectives
  • Be the main contact for respective projects across the wider programme
  • Track and manage risks throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Deliver successful project outcomes ie ensuring it is on time and within budget
