Project Manager - Tax and Finance Transformation
Location: Reading
Initial 6 month contract (will to be extended)
Hybrid way of working - occasional travel required
Currently I am on the search for a Project Manager to lead a multi-stream Tax and Finance transformation (AR/AP, OTC, P2P, statutory tax, e-invoicing, ERP integrations).
Own the end-to-end delivery from scope and budget to go-live across Finance, Tax, IT, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional delivery and project governance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, risk registers, and formal change controls.
- Coordinate ERP (SAP) partners and AMS vendors to ensure accountable outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years leading finance transformation or SAP-enabled change (FICO, SD, MM).
- Strong experience with Waterfall and Agile
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred).
- Regulated industry experience (Energy, Utilities, Financial Services) preferred.
