Summary: The Project Manager role within the Corporate Real Estate Management team at E.ON involves overseeing real estate projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives. This position requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and external suppliers, focusing on delivering high-quality outcomes within budget and timelines. The role is offered on a fixed-term contract basis for 18 months and supports hybrid working arrangements across the Midlands. Candidates should have a strong background in project management, particularly in property-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards to support business objectives.
- Define and agree project scope, setting clear objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality measures in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business.
- Establish and manage robust project governance, including decision-making processes, resource planning, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilise supply chain to deliver cost-effective high-quality outcomes.
- Manage purchasing requisitioning, goods and service receipting and invoice payment in line with organisation best practice and existing CREM Project team processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit standards, taking action to address any identified improvements.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in programme, project, and PMO methodologies, with a track record of successful property related project delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising across multiple business areas and seniority levels.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety management in project delivery, ensuring compliance and risk awareness.
- Financial and commercial awareness, with an understanding of budgeting, cost control, and business impact.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to guide discussions and achieve positive outcomes.
- A valid UK driving licence, enabling travel as required for the role.
Salary (Rate): £57,500
