Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee established sites, ensuring all plant and machinery are suitable.
- Review health and safety paperwork, carry out method statements and risk assessments, and close out health and safety files.
- Plan and schedule project timelines, manage project administration, and track project performance.
- Organise resources (labour, plant, materials, sub-contractors) and ensure only trained personnel are used.
- Coach and support new starters, organise training, and ensure the performance of supervisors and foremen.
- Report regularly to senior management and present project updates to stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
- Deal empathetically and politely with road users and residents.
Key Skills:
- HND or HNC qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
- CSCS Gold card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- Competent in using MS Project.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and relevant health and safety legislation.
