Project Manager

Summary: As a Supply Optimization Project Manager at Diageo, you will lead packaging-related projects to ensure material continuity and quality across the European business. This role involves managing supplier transitions and material improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver cross-functional supply-driven packaging projects, including onboarding new suppliers and managing sourcing changes.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of procurement-related projects in partnership with supply and procurement teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, risk profiles, and resourcing needs.
• Use Diageo’s standard commercialization processes and governance tools to deliver projects to the highest standard.
• Influence and align stakeholders across supply, procurement, and technical teams for smooth project execution.
• Apply creative thinking to overcome technical challenges and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and regulatory bodies.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in project management, packaging, or a related field.
• Experience with packaging development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to lead in a regional, international, or global context.
• A degree in a technical discipline such as Packaging Engineering or Supply Chain.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
