Summary: Our client, a leader in the highways consultancy sector, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the Project Lead within the Environment & Infrastructure team on a contract basis. The role focuses on proactive project management and delivery across various workstreams, ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure projects and developing strategies aligned with a Climate Change Action Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering infrastructure projects.
- Providing project management and coordination to support the EV Project Lead.
- Monitoring project budgets and ensuring financial control.
- Ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of pilot projects, including lamp column charging, cable channels, and flat and flush technology trials.
- Developing and implementing a city-wide delivery pipeline as part of a Climate Change Action Plan.
- Supporting the development of a communications and behaviour change strategy.
- Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and tailoring communication effectively.
