Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining project objectives, managing budgets and timelines, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Developing data collection strategies, establishing and enforcing data management policies, and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and security of data throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress, outcomes, and resolving any problems that arise.
  • Defining milestones, budget requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Adhering to the company's governance structure and ensuring alignment with the overall programme.
  • Managing third-party vendors, suppliers, and engaging with offshore teams.
  • Resolving technical and functional issues and negotiating with stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience managing complex reporting and HR system projects in a similar organisation.
  • Experience of delivering HR system improvements involving workflow processes, reporting, rostering, and rollout of additional modules supporting operational teams.
  • Technical data knowledge and expertise in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and the ability to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in a mid to large organisation working with cross-functional team management and familiarity with agile methodologies.

Salary (Rate): £62.50/hr

Role: Project Manager

Day rate: £450 to £500 (Outside IR35)

Start: ASAP

Location: Manchester/Rochdale – Hybrid working 1-2 days per week

Contract duration: 6 months with a planned extension for an additional 6 months

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic transformation team within a fast-paced, multi-functional organisation. This role is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering strategic projects aligned with corporate objectives and transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure projects are well-defined, delivered on time, meet business and technical requirements, and stay within budget. Scope for 2 projects: Data warehouse led Power BI reporting solution Support development of HR system which will involve changes to Payroll processes, operational reporting and rollout of a complex rostering system.
