The Role

As Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a varied portfolio of business change initiatives, working across multiple functions and with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.

  • Working with multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders, project sponsors, workstream leads and third-party providers.
  • Travelling nationally to support projects, stakeholder meetings and business activity.
  • Establishing clear project plans, milestones, responsibilities and delivery timelines.
  • Supporting effective project governance, controls and reporting.
  • Producing portfolio updates, dashboards and senior stakeholder communications.
  • Managing RAID logs, dependencies, risks, issues and change control.
  • Supporting project prioritisation, business cases, benefits tracking and outcome measurement.
  • Coordinating project meetings, actions, decisions and escalation points.
  • Supporting IT change coordination, transition planning and relevant approval processes.
  • Bringing consistency to project tools, processes, documentation and ways of working.
  • Providing constructive challenge, assurance and practical delivery support.
  • Helping to improve change capability and project management maturity across the organisation.

About You

  • Experience working across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile delivery approaches.
  • Experience with project governance, planning, reporting and delivery controls.
  • Confidence managing risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Experience supporting business cases, benefits tracking and project prioritisation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to influence without direct authority and build strong working relationships.
  • A pragmatic, organised and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail, combined with the ability to see the wider business picture.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint would be advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake national travel as required.
