Summary: The Project Manager role involves leading a mobile device rollout initiative, requiring strong project management skills and a focus on delivering projects within agreed timelines and client expectations. The position demands active SC and NPPV3 clearances and experience in managing large-scale rollout projects. The successful candidate will oversee the entire project lifecycle, manage financial reporting, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This is a contract position based in London, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in accordance to the PWO assigned.
  • Overall responsibility for project success, achieving project targets eg margin (as defined in the Internal View) and delivering to the agreed timescales.
  • Management of the contract including Client Obligations and Scope.
  • Management of the project through its complete life cycle and multiple aspects with particular focus on the management of the Project Plan, Risks, Issues, Dependencies and Change Control.
  • Clear and concise weekly status project reporting and plan updates.
  • Ability to create and maintain a MS Project Plan.
  • Manage the financial reporting process.
  • Work together with the Capgemini Portfolio Lead, MPS and other Delivery Leads to realize the common project targets.
  • Management and motivation of the project team.
  • Communications to stakeholders and teams about all relevant aspects of the project, in line with the contract, project baseline, project status and client feedback.
  • Meet or exceed client expectations (using client satisfaction process).

Key Skills:

  • Active SC and NPPV3 clearances.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale rollout projects, preferably in mobile device deployment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with financial reporting processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
