Project Manager

Summary: The Cyber Project Manager role involves leading medium to large-scale cyber projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines, quality standards, and budgets. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to develop operational cyber capabilities and manage project resources effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Delivery Lead in developing and delivering operational cyber capabilities.
• Lead medium to large-scale cyber projects or workstreams within a programme or portfolio, defining scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage projects to agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets, ensuring impacts beyond technical delivery are addressed (e.g., risk reduction, operating model definition, training, and service integration).
• Partner with the Project Sponsor to build robust business cases, clearly outlining outcomes, benefits, and measures, and secure necessary approvals.
• Translate sponsor and stakeholder objectives into tangible deliverables, measurable outcomes, and defined benefits.
• Oversee project budgets, escalating deviations promptly when required.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, actions, and decisions, escalating appropriately to sponsors or steering committees.
• Manage resources effectively, including external vendors, monitoring demand, ensuring commitments, and resolving availability challenges.
• Proven experience in successfully delivering change across multiple projects.
• Practical expertise in project planning and resource scheduling.
• Highly results-driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a fast-paced environment where responsiveness and leadership are critical.
• Strong background in project governance, control, and end-to-end ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to suit different audiences (detailed or high-level).
